Devotion, the debut album from South London’s Jessie Ware, has gone silver in the UK.
The singer’s first full-length, which was released in August 2012 and received a Mercury nomination, was awarded the certificate after selling over 60,000 units.
The release had previously debuted at number five on the UK Albums Chart, selling 9,319 copies in its first week.
100,000 units need to be sold for the record to go gold.
Jessie Ware has recently been linked to work with hip-hop protege A$AP Rocky, after he spoke of his admiration for the Brit’s music.
