Jay Z's hyphen appears on Craigslist

Poor Jay Z’s recently abandoned hyphen; first he took to Twitter to vent his woes, now he’s on Craigslist looking for jobs.

In the aftermath of news that the artist formerly known as Jay-Z is having a little bit of a name change (now just going by the grammar-less form of ‘Jay Z’), the folks over at Funny Or Die decided to write up a mock job application for the formerly famous punctuation mark.

The advert reads:

“Hardworking SBL (Straight Black Line) seeking immediate, full or part-time employment (see recent photo between the words “part” and “time”). Despite being laid off by my previous employer after 19 years of devoted service, I am eager to meet new people and challenge myself professionally. I am experienced in joining two separate words to create a compound word (like “back-stabbing”) or multiple words like “Here comes Jay Thinks-he’s-so-great-just-because-he’s-friends-with-president-Obama-Z.”
