Emmy The Great, Blue Roses and Phil Elverum confirm for Owl Parliament 2010

The fine folk behind Platforms:Live – one of London’s finest promoters – have announced that their all day festival “Owl Parliament” is set to return for a second year. Held in the grand surroundings of the Union Chapel in Islington, London the event this year features Phil Elverum, Aidan Moffat and Darren Hayman – three of the more influential performers of the last decade (Phil with both his The Microphones & Mount Eerie projects, Aidan with Arab Strap and Darren with Hefner). Emmy The Great and Blue Roses fly the female folk flag whilst Jeremy Warmsley will play his last show for the foreseeable future as ‘Jeremy Warmsley’ (exciting side projects are due to take centre stage). Mariner’s Children, Go Away Birds and Pete Roe are also set to perform.
