Brian Eno & RZA feature on James Blake's new album, but Jay-Z & Kanye don't
Yesterday, more details about James Blake’s forthcoming second album surfaced – including the tracklist and a dubious artwork choice. One of the more interesting pieces of info was that both Brian Eno and Wu Tang Clan’s RZA will feature on the record.
It’s now been confirmed that RZA will star on track ‘Take a Fall For Me’, which includes the line: “Fish and chips with vinegar, with a cold glass of stout”. Yes, really.
Brian Eno, on the other hand, will guest on the LP’s seventh track, ‘Digital Lion’.
However, despite previous suggestions, it turns out that neither Jay-Z nor Kanye West will feature on Overgrown, although they did spend time all in the studio together.
Overgrown comes out 8 April through Atlas/Republic. Watch the video for new single ‘Retrograde’ below:
