Beirut announce new single, out on Monday!
Some sweet news to brighten up what will eternally be known as ‘that horrible Friday when both Kaiser Chiefs and Coldplay released new material’.
Beirut have announced that the new single, titled ‘East Harlem’ (b/w ‘Goshen’) will be released this Monday 6 June. The single will be released via Zach Condon’s own label, Pompeii Records and will be available on limited edition blue or white 7” vinyl and digitally from Tuesday 7 June.
‘East Harlem’ and ‘Goshen’ are the first new songs from Beirut since 2009’s March of the Zapotec EP. According to the press release, ‘East Harlem’ is upbeat – filled with piano and trumpet that’s tailor made for seven-inch satisfaction.
Beirut will headline London’s Brixton Academy on September 16. Tickets are on sale now.
