1986 return with full-length Everybody Is Whatever I Think They Are

By ,

1986 is the project of Giorgio Angelini and Cully Symington. Two names you might not recognised, but if you’ve heard Bishop Allen, The Rosebuds, The Gutter Twins, Cursive, or Okkervil River then you’ve seen their work. Between the hectic touring schedules of these bands, Giorgio and Cully pieced together the record Everybody Is Whatever I Think They Are.

It was recorded in  Austin, Texas in November, 2007 with TJ Doherty at the helm, the longtime recording engineer for Wilco. After capturing the basic tracks, the band enlisted the help of other musicians to contribute to the recordings, including Jesus Lizard guitarist, Duane Denison, and Adam Franklin, of Swervedriver.

If you’re keen to find out what they sound like, and it’s worth playing loud, you can download the track ‘Undertow’ here!

The album will see the light of day on 8th March.
