Wyldest air "Dark Matter", the first taste of their debut EP
Wyldest return with a driving, dream-pop ditty that hears the London trio embody a more progressive energy.
"Dark Matter", here refined from its demo, is an infectious five minutes of dusky vocals and gleaming guitars that sparkle amongst bouyant rhythms.
Though we could wrap ourselves up in its comforting patchwork of melodic sounds forever, the propulsive tempo change and harmonious chants from around the three-minute mark onwards is a stunning contrast that progresses rather than diverts from the song's enchanting core.
The North London band's debut EP is due early next year via Hand In Hive (Alma Elste, Saltwater Sun, B O A). Wyldest play The Waiting Room, London on 27 November.
