Seemingly out of nowhere, Swedish duo Karl X Johan return with their most defiantly beautiful track to date.
A slow burning torch song that’s drenched in romanticised imagery (“your heart is as hard as a fist”), “A Better Tomorrow” finds itself placed against an eighties power ballad backdrop - like a long lost soundtrack to a Tony Scott blockbuster, it’s a bewildering listen and follows on beautifully from the duo’s near perfect “Never Leave Me” from last year.
“A Better Tomorrow” is released on June 24 via Emotion.
