Record Store Day 2014: Listen to Solid Steel's Independent Record Store Mixes [Exclusive]

Launched by Ninja Tune founding duo Coldcut in 1988 on the then pirate Kiss FM, Solid Steel is the world’s longest running mix series and to celebrate Record Store Day they’ve something rather special lined-up.

Solid Steel reached out to Rough Trade, Piccadilly Records, Honest Jon’s, Rubadub, IF music and Sounds Of The Universe in order to create a 6 way soundclash, (featuring some RSD releases), between some of the finest independent record stores in the UK. Each will have a 30 min selection broadcast on Solid Steel on Friday 18 April, but we have an exclusive sneak peak at a day ahead of time so get stuck in below.
