The Parrots unveil "To The People Who Showed Me Their Love Whilst I Was Here" video [Premiere]
Spanish rock trio The Parrots are streaming the new visuals for "To The People Who Showed Me Their Love Whilst I Was Here" on Best Fit.
Speaking about the video, the band said: "This music video was shot by all of us, "Pollo" & Pablo Amores and was edited by Pablo Amores. It probably was directed by the Parrots or not. And it was during a long tour around SXSW, Mexico, Costa Rica and California on March 2015."
In our review of their new EP Weed For The Parrots, our own Jess Goodman described the cut as the "EP centrepiece" adding that it "takes a step further into the wild wild west. Cavernous guitars scorch with a hypnotic intensity, drumbeats hammering home through a melodically meandering bassline and scorching vocal chants. "We have a ride to have fun, take it now while you can" Garcia crows, inspiring amidst the blissed-out daze."
The Weed For The Parrots EP is out 22 June on Luv Luv Luv. Pre-order it here, and stream it here.
The band are close to countrymen Hinds, with The Parrots' frontman Diego García producing Hinds' debut LP.
