Following on from the spiralling intensity of "Healthier Folk" Palehound have shared another track from their forthcoming debut album Dry Food.
Echoing with an air of nostalgia, "Cushioned Caging" takes '90s sounding fuzzy guitar refrains and powerfully paced rhythms, and drags them squalling and searing into 2015. With Ellen Kempner's resounding vocals at the helm, the track switches between forceful drive and sheer distortion. It's a potent combination, made all the more alluring by the elegant vocals that bridge the two.
Dry Food is released 14 August via Exploding In Sound.
