Ricky Ducati + Empire Of The Sun producer Donnie Sloan air debut cut as Midnight To Monaco
Canadian singer Ricky Ducati and L.A.-based producer Donnie Sloan (the main producer for Empire Of The Sun'a big hits) have shared their debut track as Midnight To Monaco.
"Suicide" is a no-holds-barred disco anthem. Fusing gigantic pop hooks with funky basslines and the kinds of auras that Tuxedo and Chromeo would be jealous of, M2M create an endlessly entertaining piece of noise that'll be rattling round our heads for days.
The entire project's artwork is by American artist/illustrator Robert McGinnis, who is known for over 1200 paperback illustrations and 40+ movie posters including Breakfast At Tiffany's, Barbarella and a number of James Bond instalments.
Future Classic are releasing a proper single version on 18 September, but you can download "Suicide" from tomorrow (7 August). Find out more about the project on Facebook.
