Pride of Wolverhampton (no offense, Wanderers fans) Tom Aspaul returns with "Good Together".
Spacey arpeggio synths (provided by lovely production work from GRADES) set the scene, but it's what Aspaul does with the beat that makes this one a winner. With clever lyrics about falling in love instantly ("you were the apple from the tree/you were the pull of gravity/and I'm falling"), and vocal tics and tricks reminiscent of the best '90s R&B had to offer (Aspaul references Jennifer Lopez and Janet Jackson), "Good Together" is another promising step for this relative newcomer.
