Northern post-punk four-piece set the scene for their debut EP with atmospheric new track.
Turmultuous and brooding, FEHM present a contemporary ferocity through retro '80s synths and vibrant soaring vocals. "Hand To Mouth" is a blueprint to their cause - lyrical references to waiting at the breadline are complemented by relentless rhythms and a driving bassline, whilst staccato melodies and impassioned intonation hammer the track home.
Writing songs about "desperation, unemployment, anxiety and the urban decay of 21st century Britain", FEHM are a band determined to take their place by storm - and if you know what's best, you will listen.
Debut EP Animal Skin is set for release on 11 April.
