London-based, Zimbabwe-born KWAYE is cutting the ribbon on jaw-dropping debut single/video "Cool Kids".
The 22-year-old artist has joined the ranks of Mind Of A Genius - the Los Angeles label/collective behind Gallant, ZHU, Klangstof, and more.
This first taste is a glorious, vibrant nugget of R&B-infused synthpop from the multi-instrumentalist (viola, saxophone, and guitar are just a few of KWAYE's tools). It's ludicrously infectious, with shimmering guitars and super-smooth vocals aplenty, and dazzling visuals to match - this is a bold lunge forwards that sets KWAYE up as one to keep at least one eye on.
