Bristol's Lionface has unveiled "Vampire", her latest single, ahead of new EP Battle which is released later this month.
It's a swaggering amalgam of nu-metal gyrating, gothic-pop wails, Sugababes-esque pop hooks, and doom-laden tenacity. It's loud, confident, smooth, and wild - Lionface has something of an anthem on her hands here. The track was produced by Peter Miles and Kat Marsh, with additional instrumentation/production from Martin Grech and Dan Haigh of Gunship.
Lionface will perform at Bristol's The Louisiana on 25 September, and at the Sebright Arms in London on 26 September.
The Battle EP is ou 25 September.
