Woman’s Hour – To The End

We’ve been waiting to hear something from this Kendal four-piece for what seems like an eternity and they finally came back onto our radars with this slick, languid R&B inspired number that has all the sensuality of Jessie Ware’s 90s inspired pop and all the understatement of The Weeknd‘s production. Rhye – Open (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)

Not one for sitting on his hands, Ryan Hemsworth revealed his take on Rhye’s already stunning Woman featured number ‘Open’ this week. Mixing Mike Milosh’s smooth, seductive vocals with chiming synths and dirtier beats this track feels like the logical conclusion for a band whose beginnings sprung from a remix of a remix. Keep sharing those song stems boys!

Laura Mvula – Green Garden (SOHN Remix)

Vienna based enigma SOHN adds a little mystery to Mvula’s BRITs Critics’ Choice shortlisted and BBC Sound of 2013 nominated sonics. Filtering the warm tones of the original through a relatively soft, subtle lens the song finds itself with more space to breath and bolder percussion.

IYES – Glow

The Brighton duo have put their heads together once more for this richly textured, fluttering pop number whose delicate, twinkling idiophone beginnings give way to cascading cymbals and a chorus with bombast a plenty.
