Well here’s a collaboration and a half, if you’re into that sort of thing. Personally, I was never that excited by Burial – until his superb ‘Street Halo’ earlier this year. Meanwhile, Massive Attack have traversed the gamut of good taste, making some spectacularly good and really phenomenally bad records during the course of their career.
Either way, ‘Four Walls’ sounds pretty much exactly as you would imagine a collaboration between the two acts would: deep bass, shuffling, clicky percussion, and hooky vocals. It’s rambling, quite odd, and 11 minutes long. Have a listen below.
