Aside from the Disclosure remix of ‘Running’ (that’s perhaps become more recognisable than the original), has there been a Jessie Ware remix that truly compliments the heart-stirring nature of Ware’s music? Hot Chip‘s Joe Goddard certainly makes a bold attempt here, taking the dark and broody current single ‘Night Light’ and turning it day-glo orange – primed and ready for the clubs. The drama of the original lost in favour of good old fashioned dance floor vibes.
