I think I’ve found the one of most LOL press release quotes ever: “I am a big fan of this band. I was turned onto them by Thom Yorke while we were sharing a tipi.”
That was Nigel Godrich on Here We Go Magic, whose third album A Different Ship the Radiohead collaborator has produced. ‘Make Up Your Mind’ is the first track from that record – and it sounds a bit like Flaming Pie-era McCartney singing a kraut cover of a Futureheads song.
