‘Nova’ is the latest fruit of the on-off collaboration between Burial and Four Tet. While it’s not as immediately gripping as ‘Moth’ (a career highlight for both producers), its soul-informed bass and maddeningly dynamic-less percussion make ‘Nova’ interesting, if frustrating.
