The Line Of Best Fit first brought Sleep Party People to London back in September and now, four months on, we’re thrilled to announce that the Danish collective will be returning to headline the newly refurbished Buffalo Bar in London’s Islington on Thursday April 19.

With the band currently putting the finishing touches to their as-yet untitled sophomore record, Houses are finally taking the plunge to cross the Atlantic for their long awaited debut UK tour.

For the third year running The Local and The Line Of Best Fit are teaming up to present Shhh – an all day celebration of quiet music, art and film. This year sees performances from Tiny Ruins, Tom Rogerson (Three Trapped Tigers), Mirel Wagner and the debut UK performance from Swedish troubadour The Tarantula Waltz.

As the last Ja Ja Ja was a massive two year anniversary celebration with – as per always – incredible music, and due to us having a month off for Christmas, January’s Ja Ja Ja had to be a pretty special come-back affair.

In February 2012, The Line Of Best Fit will be 5 years young. We will of course be celebrating this milestone in style, culminating in a huge party at Soho’s Madame Jojo’s where once again we’ll join forces with White Heat for an unforgettable night.

Icelandic singer-songwriter Lay Low will be showcasing new material when she hits London 10 January before playing at the Eurosonic showcase festival in Holland. A rare opportunity to see a truly special artist.

We’re thrilled to announce a show from Liverpool’s hotly-tipped psych-folk darlings and new Heavenly signings Stealing Sheep, who will headline East London’s Old Blue Last on December 13 in support of their recent EP Noah & The Paper Moon.

On 24 November Ja Ja Ja will be celebrating its second birthday. Indeed, it’s been two whole years since our first show at The Lexington and its fair to say the monthly shindig has gone from strength to strength. With last month’s show being our busiest yet we’re pulling out all of the stops to make November even better with yet another jaw dropping lineup.

We recently went to Nashville with Rockfeedback for a knees up and, well, we had such a blast that we thought we’d cement the bro-mance with a co-promoted show. That’s how we roll, see.

We’ve teamed up with the ever magnificent folks behind Eat Your Own Ears to present Korallreven’s first London live show which is taking place at The Shacklewell Arms on December 12.

The ‘Annexe Gallery’ stage will play host one of the most hotly anticipated rooms in the multi-stage Closing Party headlined with a homecoming show for band-of-the-moment Outfit, alongside Echo Lake, Bos Angeles, D/R/U/G/S, new producer DAUWD and Liverpool’s Ex-Easter Island Head.

We’ve been crazy in love with Stockholm based duo Serenades since they first revealed their swooning masterpiece ‘Birds’ back in April and, after a handful of succesful live shows in their native Sweden we are thrilled to announce that The Line Of Best Fit will be presenting Serenades debut UK show on November 22 at the Electricity Showrooms, London.

Ja Ja Ja – London’s only Nordic club night – returns on October 27 at The Lexington featuring a headline set from Denmark’s most talked about band in years – Battlekat plus performances from Johnossi and Karin Park.

TLOBF and Oh! Canada announce a showcase at Halifax Pop Explosion on October 21st at The Bus Stop Theatre, Halifax, NS. Artists appearing include Paper Beat Scissors, Giant Hand and Snailhouse.
