Le corbeau

Le Corbeau was started in 2006 as a soloproject of Øystein Sandsdalen, one of the guitarists of Serena-Maneesh. The lack of a pop record from Lee Ranaldo was one thing that inspired the formation of this band, hearing Skywave and A Place to Bury Strangers' simple repetetive songs was another. Other heavy influences for this music are film noir soundtracks, 50's jazz, My Bloody Valentine, Link Wray, The Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth and John Fahey. Read more about Le corbeau on Last.fm.
