The Line of Best Fit was created from the ashes of two disparate blogging efforts by two gentlemen currently residing in East Anglia though neither of them were born there. This is their attempt to attack the bastions of all that’s unholy and unpure in the seedy but delectable world of online music news, reviews and features.

A bitter and twisted Welshman who’s lived in England for too many years to mention. Is beginning to feel his age and finds himself more frequently listening to Radio 4. Thankfully he still doesn’t read the Daily Mail. The New York band Battles have saved him from a particularly dire 2007 in which he got depressed by the number of faceless bands consisting of skinny men who play guitars that the UK music scene seems to have become. One day he will meet Morrissey.

His infatuation with all things Swedish now stretches to their music scene. His penchant for cravats makes him the talk of the town in Ipswich, whilst his photography skills have yet to earn him a night in the cells. He’d like to BE Ryan Adams but will settle for the ability to still fit into skinny jeans with white Converse. One day he will meet Bob Dylan.
