Ignore the cheekbones and the posturing, and the ridiculous faux-’70s outfits, and the done-a-thousand-times-before projections, and this is actually an entertaining eight-minute romp through the poppier regions of the post-punk cannon, casting TOY as a more melodic alternative to the perpetually preening S.C.U.M. ‘Left Myself Behind’ is available as a free download here.
