Peaches – Turn It On (Franz Ferdinand Cover)

In the first video to be released from Franz Ferdinand – Covers EP, Peaches deals in dark themes and a murky synth line in her version of ‘Turn It On’. Disembodied lips and hands float in the darkness of the video, whilst the track pick up on the theme of fatal attraction from the original, however, where Kapranos sounded like a sour and jilted teenage boy after a nasty break up, Peaches sounds properly scary.
