‘Warmer Sounds’ will be released on March 8 to co-inside with an intimate, acoustic tour of the UK.

David’s Lyre – In Arms
In Arms is an accomplished set of compositions. But until David’s Lyre finds a voice that is more than a facsimile of Patrick Wolf’s, he will find it hard to be taken seriously says Josh Hall.

The Sound of Arrows reveal new single
‘Nova’ will be the first single to be taken from the Swedish duo’s forthcoming debut.

The Secret Sisters – The Secret Sisters
The Secret Sisters’ debut album captures their first-bloom freshness despite being curiously cover-dominated. Dusting down the forgotten or brushed aside, from soft and sorrowful to upbeat and optimistic, this homage to another era slipstreams by: sincere, stylish and anything but stale.

Wild Beasts announce UK tour
Currently working on their new album, the four-piece have revealed a string of live dates in May.

NME Tour: Crystal Castles w/ Magnetic Man and Everything Everything – Brixton Academy, London 19/02/11
Crystal Castles cause grown men to weep as they annihilate Brixton and reenergise dance music, with a helping hand from Everything Everything, for a pounding climax of the NME tour. David Newbury reviews.

Gruff Rhys – Sensations in the Dark (The Line of Best Fit Session)
Last week we had the online exclusive of his Blackpool-based album launch but this week we’re taking you right back to late January, when we met Gruff Rhys over in East London for a quick TLOBF Session.

The Chemistry Set – This Day Will Never Happen Again
When a band has been focused on producing high quality EPs, but have given birth to a long player with the title This Day Will Never Happen Again, one has to wonder if this statement is meant to foreshadow the future.

Radiohead – The King of Limbs
For a band who are notorious for being deliberately confounding and wilfully difficult, Radiohead’s records always contain a strongly-beating heart, but it’s very carefully hidden on The King of Limbs; at once intimate and cold, it may in some ways be their most difficult album yet.

Robyn to release new single
Robyn has revealed that ‘Call Your Girlfriend’ will be the next single to be taken from her most recent album Body Talk.

Cut Copy: ‘Need You Now’
Ahead of their UK tour in March, Cut Copy have offered up a brand new video for forthcoming single ‘Need You Now.’

The Low Anthem – Smart Flesh
The Low Anthem return with Smart Flesh, a fourth album of richly articulated, delicately written songs…which all sound very familiar. A continuation of a successful style, or a lack of confidence to delve into new sounds? Francine Gorman reviews.

Queens Of The Stone Age to tour debut album
Queens Of The Stone age have confirmed the 22-date tour during which they will play their debut album in its entirety.

David’s Lyre w/ Mammal Club – Night and Day, Manchester 18/02/11
There’s something that aches about seeing David’s Lyre play songs to a half empty room when they’re clearly meant to be for baying mobs. The song craft that has always been evident in the recorded material transfers into something mildly reminiscent of a bootlegged Jeff Buckley show when performed live – tender, enigmatic and fraught, though more a facsimile than the real thing.

Kurt Vile announces UK/European shows
