[Exclusive Video] The Twilight Sad – The Room

Another Twilight Sad exclusive on TLOBF!

This time it’s the video for the epic track ‘The Room’, one of the standout tracks from 2009′s epic Forget The Night Ahead. The video was directed by the extremely talented Nicola Collins.

The brooding piano intro gives way to a rising chorus, the song endlessly building into their trademark wall of feedback. Tales of woe and childhood darkness blending together, sounding like a disturbed Roald Dahl book that’ll never see the light of day. I’m constantly haunted by the line “You’re just a grandchilds toy in the corner”…
