This Thursday night (11th February) sees the long awaited launch party of the Cooperative Music group’s Club Night at The Macbeth, East London. For those unfamiliar with Cooperative, they’re a bunch of very nice folk who devise multi-territory marketing and promotions campaigns for some of the best independent record labels around, including; Bella Union, City Slang, Moshi Moshi, DFA, V2, DFA, Heavenly, Downtown and Rabid. You could say that they know their onions, and you’d be right.
Cooperative’s club night “MultiMix” has been a long time in gestation and now it’s finally around the corner, we’re rather pleased to announce that TLOBF will be involved in some capacity on a regular basis; prize giveaways, DJ sets, massages to unsuspected punters – that kinda thing.
MultiMix kicks off on Thursday in super style with DJ sets from TLOBF, The Man That Funk Built, DJ Chunks, White Fang, Rough Trade, CoOp, Heavenly Jukebox and some guy who goes under the name “Caribou“. Never heard of him. Doors open at 8pm and close at the ungodly hour of 2am. What’s more, it’s free entry – all night. For more info, head on over to the Facebook event page.
