With the release of The Silent League‘s third (and best) album …But You’ve Always Been The Caretaker (surely a reference to The Shining?) due via Something In Construction on April 19th (though you can buy a deluxe 2 CD version from Rough Trade – available now! or get it digitally via [itunes link="http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/when-stars-attack/id332179327?uo=4" title="The_Silent_League-But_Youve_Always_Been_the_Caretaker_(Album)" text="iTunes"]) - the remix cogs have sprung into motion. First up is fellow SiC label mate Memory Tapes, who turns the cosmic ‘Yours Truly, 2095′ into some sort of neo-electro workout. Impressive stuff indeed. Rumour has it that another SiC label-mate – Christian Silva (from The Leisure Society) has also remixed a track from the album. More info on that when we get it….
Memory Tapes arrives in the UK this week for a handful of shows – including his London debut at TLOBF’s very own club night ILL FIT (19th January). More info on that here. Needless to say we’re mighty excited.
