i must politely disagree with some of the comments made in an otherwise very good review (don't be cruel Drez! :OD). whether it was the rum, the crew i brought along, the fact it was my birthday or the excitement of seeing a particular band for the first time in over a decade (then supporting Anthrax!) i thought it was two hours of brilliance. the admittedly muddy production of this and the last album has absolutely no bearing on their live sound and the newer stuff was really rocking. 'Young Man' and 'Bless Those' were particularly enthralling (and dancy too, that's grrrooooove dancy!). One friend who is unfamiliar with the band came up to me halfway through and grinned 'good choice!'. Nobody seemed to leave the place disappointed and, unlike the Clutch gig the month before, there was a vibe amongst the crowd which the band clearly fed on. One of the best gigs I have been to once all taken into account.

And Flying was poingnant, soaring and moving in my opinion.

I'm sure they dedicated the song FLYING to those victimized by terrorism. You do know it's a sad love song about a relationship and the twin towers on 9/11... It's standard fare for will to do a drum solo during a typical LC concert. and yes, people do enjoy it, and some don't. One knows they can grab a beer, hit the restroom during those times. The band has a setlist they follow every night. They aren't thinking: 'they didn't like that let's do Go Away!' This is not objective journalism as much as it's your personal opinion. And it's half-assed amatuer journalism at best
