Frankie & The Heartstrings are confirmed to headline Huw Stephens’ ‘Happy Huw Year 2010!’ Tour in January with Islet and Swanton Bombs. The free entry, three date mini-tour takes in Bristol, Bournemouth and London. The tour follows a busy December with the release of their debut 7” single ‘Hunger’ / ‘Fragile”’on Rough Trade and an in-store at RPM in Newcastle on the 7th, plus shows supporting Florence & The Machine.
The band also release a limited edition 10” vinyl titled 12.09.09 on their own PopSex Ltd label which will be available at shows, select independent record stores and at popsexltd.com. This 10”, with six tracks recorded live at The Independent in Sunderland on 12th September, will be limited to 500 copies and will come in a custom F&THS / PopSex Ltd bag, with a fanzine written and designed by the band, a special four-badge set and a unique postcard.
