Not many bands celebrate a nomination for a major national prize by heading up to the arctic circle. Yet that’s exactly what Newfoundland’s Hey Rosetta! did this year after their Hawsley Workman produced album Into Your Lungs (and around in your heart and on through your blood) was shortlisted for the Polaris Prize earlier this year. Having already picked up gongs for Best Album at last years XM awards and a mantle-full of awards at the East Coast music awards TLOBF is looking forward to the eventual release next year.

Tuesday’s show will be part of Canadian Blast! -a new series of events showcasing the latest Canadian talent in the UK, and will also feature fellow Canadian’s Spiral Beach and Redbluegreen, as well as the UK’s own The Argument and How It Started
