We had a little bit of fun on Twitter earlier asking some of you who you thought the additional special guests appearing at the Efterklang show on 28th October could be. Some of the guesses were sensible: Peter Broderick. Some preposterous: Grizzly Bear. And some inspired: Impaled Nazarene. Weirdos. But we can now 100% officially confirm that the wonderful Sons Of Noel and Adrian will be performing a special set in the foyer of The Barbican at approx 6:30-7:10pm. Greeted at the venue by one of the UK’s best live acts… now that is something to be excited about right?
The Sons Of Noel and Adrian set is totally free to watch too, so if you haven’t got a ticket for the show – you can still watch Sons in the entrance hall. Or watch them whilst you buy a ticket – it’s really up to you!
The main event of course is Efterklang (who recently inked a new deal with 4AD) – they will be joined on stage by the Britten Symphonia for what is sure to be a highly memorable performance. Main support for the evening comes from Norwegian 10-piece Jaga Jazzist.
Amazingly, there are still tickets available for the show. Priced between £15-£25 and available direct from The Barbican website.
