It’s just been announced that Pavement- the newly reformed slacker kings of the nineties- will curate weekend 2 of All Tomorrow’s Parties 2010 festival. As usual, the three day event will take place at Butlins, Minehead, from 14th – 16th May next year.
“After years of speculation,” say ATP, “arguably the most important American band of the Nineties is returning to the stage with the line-up of Mark Ibold, Scott “Spiral Stairs” Kannberg, Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West reuniting for dates around the world in 2010 including curating and performing at ATP Weekend 2 on May 14th – 16th.”
Tickets are priced at £160pp for room only and £170pp for self catering. An early bird sale starts on 9th October, visit http://www.atpfestival.com for more information, including details of ATP’s installment scheme.
The curator of the first ATP weekend (set for 7th – 9th May 2010) will be announced next week.
