Loney Dear reveal new video, plus 2004 album gets vinyl treatment

loney-dear

The second single to be pulled from Loney Dear’s latest long player Dear John is one of the many album highlights. The bands US label, Polyvinyl premiered ‘I Was Only Going Out’ on Pitchfork yesterday, but we know there’s some UK love for Loney out there so here it is…

Oh, incidentally – Polyvinyl have just announced the pre-sale of a highly limited edition copy of Loney Dear’s second album Citadel Band. Originally a self-released album (along with debut River Fontana) Citadel will be available on mixed colour vinyl as of 24th November. There are only 1000 copies though, and priced at $12 each – they’re soon to be snapped up. Pre-order it here.

$12 is a bargain, but then postage is an extra $15.20! Feels wrong buying something where the postage costs more than the item, hmmm.

haha yeah for sure. i’ve got a copy earmarked already so i didn’t even look at the postage ;)

but that’s pretty expensive. still, worth it though. imagine listening to ‘shivering green’ on vinyl? mmmm.
