The eighth Eels studio album, entitled End Times, will be released January 18, 2010, only six months after the latest Eels album, Hombre Lobo.
The new album features 14 tracks largely self-recorded by Eels leader Mark Oliver Everett, aka E, in his Los Angeles basement studio. Following the longest gap between Eels albums (4 years between 2005′s Blinking Lights and Other Revelations and 2009′s Hombre Lobo), this is the shortest gap between Eels albums.
