When those mad scientists at TLOBF approached us to do this, we said yes without thinking. Why? Because in their short public life, The Line Of Best Fit has already become the most vital link to new music that the UK has produced in years. The cornerstone of this success is in the quality of the writing, and the excellent photography. But anyway, enough about them!
We immediately got to thinking about our week of home rule, and all sorts of wonderful things started coming out, as you will shortly see for yourselves!
We also thought we should do a limited print version for fun and Mark had this genius idea of a karaoke cassette that could go with it! All the bands we asked to do it embraced it fully and the results have been so superb. Really good fun. (The tape(s) will also be available as a digital download here on TLOBF)
Mark and I would like to thank the TLOBF folks for asking us, and more importantly all the artists on the label who have, seriously, been just as excited about all the ideas as we have!
