One of my favourite bands of the moment and an act I’m tippping to be HUGE by the end of 2009 are Music Go Music (look I even tweeted about them yesterday!). The trio (two thirds of Secretly Canadian act, Bodies Of Water) from LA create infectious pop music that is the missing link between ABBA and St Etienne. In a word, they are incredible. Words can’t describe how excited I am about their debut album (due out early 2010).
Music Go Music play London’s ICA on September 22nd 2009 and then Koko on the 25th September.
For now, enjoy the video for new single ‘Warm In The Shadows’ out on August 10th via Mercury/Secretly Canadian.
