This album kicks ass. I didn't think they'd be able to capture their live spirit so well, but they really have. If they're playing anywhere near you, I cannot urge you enough to go and see them. So annoyed that there Bristol date clashes with Green Man!
There's some extraordinary YouTube footage of their set at Summer Sundae the weekend just gone, that I've tried to post URLs of twice now but it won't let me for whatever reason. Suffice to say, searching for 'Monotonix Summer Sundae balcony jump' will give you an idea.
I remember them supporting Silver Jews. The crowd didn't know what hit them!
