Curated by BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, SWN Festival 2009 boasts a swathe of established and new bands playing in venues across the Welsh capital (Cardiff, for those of you who’ve never crossed the Severn).
Welsh champions Los Campesinos! will curate their very own night at the festival and will perform alongside Dananananaykroyd. Pioneering electronic producer Daedelus will be making an appearance with the likes of Gold Panda and Minotaur Shock. If it’s emerging talent you’re after then San Francisco band Girls or Scotland’s Copy Halo are ones to watch, and how could we forget the legendary Martin Carr… and that’s only the beginning.

SWN Festival 2009 is scheduled to take place Thursday 22 – Saturday 24 October. ‘Earlybird’ tickets are available until this Friday 31 July from www.wegottickets.com priced at £15 for a 1-day pass and just £40 for a 3-day pass.
