Pearl Jam announce new album

Pearl Jam have announced details of a new album.

It’ll be called Backspacer and will be released via Universal / Island Records in the UK on 21st September. Produced by Brendan O’Brien, the band premiered a new track, ‘Get Some’, on the Conan O’Brien show on June 1st. It’s probably on YouTube somewhere…

In the US ‘Backspacer’ will be self-released by the band for the first time, following the end of their deal with Sony.
