Even though he’s back touring and, indeed, recording, with Dinosaur Jr doesn’t mean Lou Barlow hasn’t found time for some quality “Me” time. The result of that, a second LP under his own name called Goodnight Unknown, which is to be released at the beginning of October via Merge. The record features guest turns from the Melvins’ Dale Crover and singer-songwriter Lisa Germano.
Lou is set to road test some of the new material when he opens up for Dinosaur Jr. on tour their U.S. tour this coming September, but no word on whether this will extend to the UK leg later in the year.
UPDATED: We’ve had info through that Domino are putting this out in the UK! Great news! It’ll be released on Oct 5th.
