The initial acts for this years Liverpool SoundCity have been announced. Taking place between Wednesday 20th May and Saturday 23rd May, it’ll feature some of the UK’s best new acts, plus a host of transatlantic acts.
White Lies will headline one evening, followed by the ever hyped Animal Collective and the winner of this years BBC Sound of 2009 award, Little Boots.
Also performing will be Cage the Elephant, Deerhunter, Mongrel, Mumford and Sons and Hot Melts.
In total, more than 400 acts from around the world will play to 25,000 people across 30 of Liverpool’s most prestigious venues for four days.
