Rough Trade Records have announced details of a new album from the marvellously under-rated The Veils.
The album will be called Sun Gangs and will be released on 6th April.
In anticipation, the band have also announced a four date “tour” of, erm, London:

Sun Gangs is described by Finn Andrews as “a very modern mixture of prayers, love letters and personal record keeping” and was produced by Graham Sutton (Jarvis Cocker / Bark Psychosis)
Finn continued by saying: “I really wanted to write something that hangs together in perhaps a not so obvious way; not just some collection of singles but a real voyage into something, something strange and unspecific but totally emotionally consuming. It’s also kinda just a break-up record in many ways.”
