The Field collaborate with Battles on new album

Stockholm, Sweden’s The Field, aka Axel Willner, conjured up a modern day classic back in with 2007 with debut album From Here We Go Sublime. Two years on and Willner is ready to release his follow-up; Yesterday & Today, out  May 25th in Europe and May 26th in the USA via Kompakt.

There isn’t much more info out there at the moment, the label states that the record is “more organic than its predecessor” and it also features Battles’ John Stanier on drums. We can only dream of what that collaboration is going to sound like. That’s literally all we have. Hopefully there will be more info available soon. Watch this space.
