Primavera Sound launches Pitchfork stage for 2009

Primavera Sound this year has announced a stage curated by the U.S. music website Pitchfork.

Coupled with this is a new series of confirmations, who include: Vivian Girls, Wavves, Crystal Stilts, The Tallest Man On Earth, Ponytail, Crystal Antlers, The Bug, Bowerbirds, The Mae Shi’s and  Plants & Animals. All of them will perform on the stage that Pitchfork curates for Estrella Damm Primavera Sound 2009. The festival will take place from May 28th to May 30th in Barcelona’s Parc Del Fòrum.

FULL FESTIVAL TICKET PRICE CHANGES SOON

January 15th is the last day to buy the full festival tickets for 90€. From January 16th, their price will be 115 €. Tickets can be purchased at the following sale outlets: Tick Tack Ticket network (www.ticktackticket.com), CD Drome stores in Barcelona (Valldonzella str. 3) and Madrid (Pozas str. 6), Seetickets (www.seetickets.com), Fnac France (www.fnacspectacles.com) and PayPal in the official website of the festival, www.primaverasound.com.

Alela Diane, Damien Jurado, Extra Life, Gang Gang Dance, Kitty Daisy and Lewis, Michael Nyman, My Bloody Valentine, Spiritualized, The Soft Pack, Throwing Muses and The Vaselines.
