The rather brilliant Bat For Lashes has announced details of an imminent new album, along with a UK tour.
Two Suns is to be released on April 6th 2009, and apparently deals with “the philosophy of the self and duality”, while “metaphysical ideas about the connectedness of existence are also close to the album’s heart”. These ideas are, apparently, voiced through Natasha Khan’s “inner character Pearl, the destructive blonde femme fatale that represents one extreme of her personality”. Sounds suitable bonkers to me…
The only other details we have is that she’s worked with both Yeasayer and Scott Walker during the recording of this album… Which also sounds intriguing…
