I loved the Singles Club flyer. “You there! With the ears!”

I never got past the first issue of Phonogram but might try get hold of it when I have a bit more money. Does Kiero-um, I mean Kohl make a repeat appearance or not?

Damn, since becoming poor I’ve not been able to keep up on comics much. Didn’t realise there was a second run on the go. I wasn’t completely sold on the first series, there were some good ideas, but poorly executed in places, and way, way, way too much posturing and referencing with no justification.

Plus, Kieron once accused me of plagiarising one of his reviews for a site I used to write on, so I’m still holding that grudge.

But in seriousness, I look forward to reading The Singles Club, there was definitely a lot of potential in Rue Britannia.

Really interesting stuff.

My comic reading hasn’t spread much further than Watchmen but for all I’ve read about Phonogram here, on RPS and elsewhere I’m really tempted to get hold of it now.
