It gets a four star review in the Sunday Times today. It’s not taking off in the press as I thought it would, but those who have noticed seem to really like it.

Finally got to get this album (waited for the UK release) and have to say how much I agree with the review and the general comments – a really wonderful album, Crooked Legs is just breathtakingly good. And I never would have heard of it without this lovely place, cheers guys.

im so excited about the luminaire show. im just gutted it’s only a support slot. i like akron/family and all but id much prefer the acorn to headline. a little bird told me they’d be back in december though for some more london shows. yay!

Fabulous review of the album! The Acorn have such a rich layered sound! You will enjoy the show immensely!

They are a local band for me but I won’t get to see them again until November when they wrap up their tour with Ohbijou… can’t wait!
